JERUSALEM, May 30 (UPI) -- A report by the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel found there is "no effective barrier" to torture in the country and detailed nine alleged cases.
The report, published Wednesday, says a ruling by the country's high court that allows for extreme interrogation of suspects deemed to be "time bombs" allows for "almost any Palestinian prisoner to be tortured," the Jerusalem Post reported Wednesday.
