Has it ever happened to you that you went to browse one of your domains, and found that it was not up (not returning home page) for whatever reason? Either server down, or DNS config error, or ?? It has only rarely happened to me (usually only after some other config changes to an account). Just curious to see how many folk this has happened to and/or how often.
I am adding {writing} some code to the application that I manage my portfolio with, that automatically/continually runs and checks on web pages of all domains in the portfolio (that are marked to be checked). If the homepage is not returned, the application will "hit me up on the cell phone" to let me know.
