Hello I receive an incoming inquiry on my domain name. Below is the email, please help me to verify this is legit or not. TY

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My name is ****** Wong. I work for a hosting provider from Swirzerland.

I act on the behalf of our VIP client. The buyer does not speak English and I help him to buy your domain. If you need a faster response please contact me in Telegram messenger.

Please join my Domain Sales Group in Telegram: https://no_url_shorteners/Broker*****. Join this group in Telegram messenger and send me a private message (Domain Broker Liza is my nick name). You may also talk to other domain sellers in this group who used my services in the past. You will see it's a real offer and I have many happy customers.

If you don't have Telegram please download it on your Smartphone from Google Play or AppStore. Then make search for Broker******* and join my group.

I work with many domain investors from Saudi Arabia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Switzerland etc. If you have other domains I may help you to sell them to my investors.

The buyer offers $25000 USD in Litecoins or $24000 USD via International wire transfer/Western Union/Paypal. Do you also own .net and .org version? The buyer would like to buy them too to secure the brand. He is a professional investor and entrepreneur and will use domains to generate traffic to his new project.

My commission is only 6 %. The commission is divided between you (3%) and the buyer (3%) and paid after you get the money.

The payment to you will be made via escrow service to protect both parties during the transaction. You will get 50% before the domain transfer and 50% after.

To proceed with the sale, the buyer requires certification of compliance with Swiss law and trademarks because he will run his startup in Switzerland. Please don't worry. If you don't have it you can order it online. I will help you with instructions and will not leave you along with this.

According to his country law the domain holder may lose domain if it has trademark conflicts or other legal restrictions. He is a professional investor and cannot afford to lose the money and domain and will send you the funds only after you send him a verification from an independent agency that make legal verification in Japan. I hope you understand it.

Please note this is not a SSL certificate. I hope you understand it.

The certification must include the following:

- The certification agency must be certified to verify domains in German.
- Verification of compliance with Swiss law and trademarks.
- Legal restrictions for his country.
- Independent valuation by market experts
- The certificate must be up to date (issued during last 30 days).
- Official copy of the verification in English and German.

If you are ready to to sell to my client please let me know.

I talked to the buyer. GoDaddy and Sedo certificates don't meet the requirements (no local law compliance verification). We asked him which service meets his and his bank requirements. We must protect you too. Since you order the certificate the certification agency must guarantee full refund if your domain is not sold.

Do you need the refund guarantee from the certification agency?

Best regards,

*******Wong

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Scam to get you to pay for the certification. Don't pay anything up front.. I get a lot of different versions of these offers. I just ignore it. If they want the domain they will use something like escrow.com and no MUMBLE JUMBO..

As soon as you see the word certification or certificate, just mark that email as SPAM.

The second email, after a brief one-sentence reply:
Code:
Thank you for responding!

My name is Elizabeth Eichstetter. I work as a broker for foreign client in Japanese hosting company - Heteml Inc. (part of GMO Clod). I will help you to finish the sale.
I act on the behalf of our client from Japan. I will be your broker in this deal. He will use your domain to generate traffic to his new web project.

My commission is 6 %. It is divided between you and the buyer (50%/50%).

To communicate faster install Telegram Messenger on your smartphone. The send me your Telegram user name (nickname after @ ).
Then join my Domain Sale Group using this link [link removed]

You may also send me your Telegram user name (begins after @) and I will contact you.

You may also talk to other domain sellers from the chat who used my services in the past. I have many happy customers. This way we will finish the deal faster and easier.

I work with many domain investors from Japan, China, Korea, Singapore etc. If you have other domains I may help you to sell them to my investors.

The buyer keeps a big sum in crypto currency who wants to invest in web projects. The buyer offers $75000 USD in Litecoin/Bitcoin or via International wire transfer/Western Union. Do you also own .net and .org version? The buyer is a professional investor. He earns serious money on web projects. Your domain will generate traffic to hos new project because it has a good potential and search engine friendly. That's why he can offer a good price for your domain. Professional investors buy through personal brokers. They don't use Flippa or GoDaddy Auctions so you cannot sell there for good money.

The payment to you will be made via escrow service to protect both parties during the transaction. You will get 50% before the domain transfer and 50% after.

To proceed with the sale, the buyer requires certification of compliance with Japan law and trademarks because he will run his startup in Japan.

The buyer pays good money but he must be sure he will not be sued for using it in his country. He needs an independent certification of compliance with Japan law that proves it can be used in Japan.

Please don't worry. If you don't have it you can order it online. I will help you with instructions and will not leave you along with this.

Please note this is not a SSL certificate. I hope you understand it.

The certification must include the following:

- The certification agency must be certified to verify domains in Japan.
- Verification of compliance with Japan law and trademarks.
- Legal restrictions for his country.
- Independent valuation by market experts.
- The certificate must be up to date (issued during last 30 days).
- Official copy of the verification in English and Japanese.

But the certification gives a big advantage to you. If the certification shows a higher value he will pay the higher price. If it comes lower he will pay you the sum I mentioned earlier.

We asked him if GoDaddy and Sedo certificates meet the requirements. If you are ready to to sell to my client please let me know.

Please respond ASAP. We have another seller and he agrees to certify the domain. If you are not going to proceed we will buy his domain.

It looks like scammers' punishments are not nearly as harsh as they should be!...

Hopefully this post get search-indexed.
