Is this a Scam ?

I just registered a NNNNN .com - 80796 .com - I then went to Afternic to list it in my sites for sale but was told I couldn't because it was already listed by someone else.

So I checked who had listed it and it is somebody who has 10,000 sites listed all of which seem to be offered at $500. So I got to thinking either it was one of his names that dropped that he didn't renew or alternatively he has listed 10,000 names he doesn't own then if somebody makes a bid on one of his sites, he quickly gets in touch with the person who really owns the site and offers to buy it for less than he will get by selling it ?

Any opinions ? Am I just being paranoid ?

Previously owned & listed by someone else, just send them an email & they will confirm & allow you to list it in your account.

contact the former owner and have it de listed so you can list it under your account, fortunately for me it happened before and the former owner of it is also member of namepros so i was able to request that.
