Sorry, but I tried to get some feedback on a domain I reg'd and no one is helping out. The appraisal forum here hasnt been too friendly to me

But anyway, is a newly reg'd domain (S-tocks.com) with 191,000,000 google searches a good buy at $7.20?

191,000,000 google searches for STOCKS, not s-tocks.. Google disregards hyphens when it searches. I doubt anybody searches for s-tocks... in fact I guarantee it.

Search for st-ocks, then sto-cks, etc. They all return about the same amount of results, and none of the results include the hyphen.

i dont kno if i'm 100% right, but as far as i kno when we search for "stocks".....the results include s-tocks or st-ocks.

Why the quotes? And how does that effect the numbers like that?

if you do the search without the quotes, as 007 told you, Google disregards the hyphen. So Google is searching for the word stocks, regardless of whether you entered s-tocks. So to get an idea of how many sites actually use the word s-tocks, you need to use the quotes.. And it's rather small and probably gets 0 searches...
