Is there an actual ePassporte alternative?

Is there an ePassporte alternative that gives you a virtually loaded credit card / ATM card which can be used to purchase items online, at the same time giving you the ability to withdraw / access your cash anytime?

I searched Google, but could not find any. I need a virtual credit card for my purchases online as well.

have you asked your local bank? most should be able to provide you virtual credit card.

I have asked my local bank. They can only offer me a credit card which requires big credit infront. and I want a prepaid card, not a credit card. What I have on card is what I can spend / withdraw. Any solutions?

The banks in your contry may at least issue Visa Electron cards, these are not prepaid cards but debit cards linked to a bank account. They are OK for online transactions, with a few exceptions.

Thank you, my current account is already with this bank AAIB. But their prepaid card has limitations, and It is only valid with Electron sign. Well, I will check possibilities with them and tell you

I am already happy with MoneyBookers/ e-gold as alternatives. But MoneyBookers does not provide me a debit card. I usually need a debit card to make purchases online, something like ePassporte, but in the present they've suspended many features for me (Regional features) So I cannot use it anymore. May I ask what limitations ? Visa Electron are like regular Visa cards, it's the same network and the only restriction is that the transactions must be processed online. Basically the major limitation is that the cards are not suitable for offline use, or if you want to rent a car they will want a full credit card to secure a deposit. Other than that you can withdraw money at ATMs, pay for purchases and order online.
I often use a Visa Electron for online purchases, even to pay my snap backorders

Yes that's it. With a few exceptions, I think it may depend on the merchant backend, perhaps because some merchants are processing transactions in bulk and not in realtime... but I have a European Visa Electron that works fine on nearly all the sites I can remember
I can even use it with paypal

I use Entropay.com, you can create unlimited virtual credit cards there, best thing is they are anonymous cards so you can enter any name and address you want when using them.
