I bought two names in the past week with spry.com but the whois doesn't change and they weren't available to sale anywhere else but spry.com...
I found out about the available names at domaintools, that led me to spry...
Does anyone know if spry.com is a honest site?
How come many times some names are only available for sale at spry.com?
Why after a whole week my name hasn't changed at the whois...even worse: I just checked and the two domains are still for sale!!!
Someone please give me some feedback...
if SPRY.com is a scam...than no more people should fall for this and every domainer should know about it.

I know SPRY.COM is a very reliable network. However, I have never used them for domains. But to my experience their services have all been ok.

Same with me.

I checked on Whois.sc / DomainTools, and it said the name was available, clicked buy, and it was only available at Spry.com, and nowhere else.

Still havn't regged it though. :D

Spry.com IS honest

I have been a long time customer of Spry. They are responsive, give great customer service and are always very responsive to questions and comment. I don't understand why you would not inquire with spry themselves.

Did they give money back cause they were honest or so you can say they were honest?

So how were they honest?

Thanks,

We recently re-did our website, and a result of that re-do was the problem mentioned above- certain domain names would show as available for registration when they were, in fact, already registered.

The reason for this error is that the suggestions generated by whois.sc/domaintools.com don't automatically exclude domain names that are registered but do not have any authoritative nameservers listed. We used to double-check prior to checking out, and we missed porting that bit of code over to our new website.

We now have the double-check enabled again, and if anyone else has encountered a situation where they attempted to register a domain name via Spry, only to find that the domain name was not registered, I'd encourage you to PM me here or create a support ticket at spry.com/support/myaccount/

Thanks,
Sprydotcom
