Is it secure to pay by e-gold? Urgently need your help.

I am looking to buy a domain name, and the seller only accept e-gold.

To be honest, the asking price of the domain name is only 20% of its previous sold price. But yes, the seller owns this domain name for sure.

Just wanna know is e-gold secure? if I paid but didn't receive the domain name (e.g. someone hacked and stole the domain), any way to get refund?
