Is Google trend reliable?

Im getting super confused... is google trend really reliable?

Where do you find trustworthy average monthly global search volume?

to expand a little, I tried to compare estibot's data with google trends and I didnt find agreement. I also compared with expireddomains.net and the strange thing is that sometimes it seems like they match like perfectly, however other times they are really really really off.. like 10x.

As far as I know both expireddomains.net and estibot use google API to get their data.. sooo what is going on? why this massive disagreement?
