Nice word; not exactly premium, but very usable.
- forkful is regged in a few extensions (even .tv); dot.com since 2005. Forkfull with 2 l's is also regged in a few extensions, but with one l is proper spelling.
- forkful is part of quite a few domain strings, like (dot.com's) itsAForkful, MyForkful, ForkfulFood, LocalForkful and quite a few more. So there are a lot of end users who may like to own the one-worder part of their domain.
- all end users seem to be about food, food blogs, recipes, restaurants. I don't think you'll ever sell it for a lot of cash, but I do think you could safely sell in a reasonable range of $500 - 2K, depending on the size and amount of interest of an end user.
I'd feel confident in approaching end users with this one... but first you need to find out who owns the one trademark there is on forkful, this company:
Forkful LLC in Jacksonville, NC, 28546
And then make sure not to email to them :notme:
That's the only TM I've found, so there is a TM worry since this company runs a food/catering service. It is a generic, just like apple, but it can be branded for things, so you have to be careful about use, putting ads on, etc, however since you just have it pointing to your main site, should be no prob for you. That isn't legal advice though, so make your own decisions.
Good luck, decent word
