Is Forexcom trademark?

i was thinking to buy forexcom.org i think its premium and also available
but i searched in trademarkia.com site and found there is a trademark called forex.com i know this company its popular in forex market.. but i still dont know...

the trade mark is forex .com not forex com will this (dot)make any difference

but may be i have not got your picture because the issue of the trade mark is very complex and i cant understad it clearly also dont think we have an expert person here to make it clear....you know..stock..is a tradmark.. just search about it.. and there are alot of domains with stock..like stock com ..stockside..etc...trade is a trade mark too..and you wil see tradecom..tradezone.....so what is the porblem?ca any one here clarify the issue?

There are the generic words and the made up words. I think forex is madeup and is trademark. I am not expert but the example I gave you ia enough I think.

googe and facebook and twitter these words are very very far away form words like trade and forex and stock and invest...facebook and google and twitter these words you can call them madeup words they have no meanings but they are famous and tradmarks...

I know what forex means.. it has been my job in the last 10/years ..For Exchange. ..ForEx. ..see?it is made up. Dont look at the mean.... Just look at the word forex. Anyways if you are sure it is no trademark then who am i to tell yiu otherwise?/

i am just asking not making an argument
but not because forex is a shortcut it will be such google or facebook??
forex is market not just word..no one in the whole world owns this word like mark as example owns the facebook!!
and by the way talking about forex
forex was my job too for years ago
and if is your job too as you say you must heard about companies like ..forex yard.. and ..easy forex ..and forex soluotion and forex .com and so many companies with forex words...do you think they were breaking the law??

Trademark is trademark unless you have permission. Those companies might have permissions which we dont know.

I also own few domains containing keywords like best + forex + platform. Looks like I have to delete them. As forex is also a trademark and using forexcom is even worse.

forexcom may cause a trade mark issue because there is a trade mark called forex.com its a big forex company so there are much search average and traffic in forexcom

but forex isnt trademark its a generic word belong to big market and so many domains with forex sold every day.
