Years ago almost every dropped name got "caught" then dropped again 4 days later if it was shown to not have type-in traffic.
Is this still being done?
After a failed Godaddy backorder (I know, you're laughing at that!) I received this message:
We recommend you keep this domain on backorder until 3/27/2016. The current owner may be testing it for monetization purposes and has five days after the create date to test the domain before cancelling it for a refund.
Is this just a message from the last decade, or is it still being done? I've not seen this occur for many years myself.
