Is anyone still covering reg fees with parking?

I'm asking because I make very little with ANY parking company.

I'm a member of all the major ones, including parked, bodis, sedo, fabulous etc etc...

But PPC rev is real bad right now across the board... I had 71 .co.uk names with parked for months, I made around $1 from them all. I switched the nameservers on 1 to my own hosting, made a quick feed affiliate website and earned £50 within 2 days. Surely the way ahead is affiliate marketing. PPC is P poor

affiliate marketing is good if your trafic supports it. Im making so so money from Whypark and have a few affiliate products on some....just seems to be about traffic bottom line

That's not true,

traffic comes with development... I have one domain that made absolutley nothing parked, and now it makes up to £60 a day with affiliate feeds. Some days it makes bugger all, some days it makes 5 quid, but on good days it makes 60 quid.. I have a few like that, and they are all on the same platform now... Some of my names were worthless, I threw up a quick feed site, and now they make money..

e.g. I have had Cycle Bag | Cycle Bag Deals | Bike Bags | Bicycle Bags on a feed now for a few months, who'd have thought a name like that could make any money? Well it does. I'm using Datafeed Studio for a lot of my names and the rev is pouring in. That's not an aff link It's an endorsement for a great product. And it's not my product, I'm just more than happy to let others know that it works wonders. I've only ever used it for UK domains but I'm sure it is transferrable worldwide.

Still for $150 i'd like to see more - any other sites you'd like to showcase? Anyone else out there tried Datafeed Studios?

but what good would that do?

You either believe me you can make your licence fee back extremely quickly, or you don't

I don't use ebay aff program so know not a lot about it.

Do they provide datafeeds? If so then you can use datafeedstudio.com with it I would imagine.

Martin would probably knock up a parser at a small fee if requested.

Great thinking about devving Sites rather than parking them .
I rarely if ever park names. I got totally sick of 5c clicks when the same name earns $xx from links.
That pennydainty site looks good except
1/ NO ADSENSE Compliant privacy policy
2/ Not enough content for ADSENSE terms and conditions.
datafeeds is not enough, add an article about the "Good Old Days when those sweets were 5 for a penny" or similar

A privacy policy can be added directly from the admin. Articles can be easily added via the built in blog too, but I'm hoping for some user input by them commenting on the products themselves, which will in time build up unique content

I still have some domain names covering reg fees with parking, but honestly, not a lot. Most of them that dont cover their own reg fee will be led to rest in peace long time ago:D. For now, the conditions around me tell me that parking won't have a chance for me to get bigger money unless I go try something else. Surely some domain names can cover reg fees, like........10-15 USD per year - reg fee = ....around 1-6 USD per year? And for sure I dont have 10000 of that kind of domain name, so my chance on getting even 100 USD per month through parking is kinda doubted:D.

I myself are now go into affiliate stuffs. That's a pretty good information about datafeed studio.

Yes, but before it was developed it was nowhere in google. A couple of months using Datafeed Studio and it tops google

As I said before, traffic comes with development, and I'm more than happy with the SEO of DFS
It does help to have a good keyword domain too

I also don't think it matters if that domain has hyphen(s) and is not a dot com. The keywords still help. Since the "good" names are typically taken but not developed a site with a "bad" domain can do well and there is little financial risk.

Traffic sources

Any freshly reg'd name is going to have a very rough time getting back its reg fee without development. All the domains making money for me with parking companies have existing backlinks (dropped domains).

I don't think this is a long term strategy because these sites don't have content and won't accrue backlinks. In the long term Google may weed them out. On the other hand these sites look easy to build so might be worth a go...

If you have domains with natural traffic then this is a real alternative to parking. Great info here.
