Is Afternic affiliated with BuyDomains ?

I've found this link in an email Afternic send to me after I showed interest to buy a domain :

The least point in the landing page states: "A strong web address is a critical piece of any digital marketing strategy. Contact a BuyDomains consultant to find the best premium domain name for your business today."

So, is Afternic affiliated with BuyDomains?

If it is not, I think that is at least misleading.

They were together from the beginning under NameMedia.
Later NM sold Afternic to GoDaddy and BuyDomains to Endurance.
