As the title says , I've noticed all domain selling markets offer a premium listing / ad for entries.
From your experience in the last 2 years, do you feel that it's needed and effective to do so?
If it is effective, which one has worked for you?
Alternatively , if it's not effective to pay for a "featured" option say on GoDaddy.. is it something else like Facebook ads ?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Exposure is good. Gives any buyer the confidence that you're listed with a trusted entity too (like a GoDaddy), that can mean something in itself. A lot of domains get advertised across LinkedIn, let alone Facebook, then running it through a service like Escrow.com

Most domainers will experiment with paid listings at some point. Success is rare.

it depends from what you are selling and how much you are asking..
for some domains it is worth to increase the number of eyeballs on the domain
