Is 6N going to be the cap?

It's starting to appear that premium 5n - 6n will be the cap across the board on all extensions. That's not the best news for me personally as I own several 7n premiums.

We've seen it happen one by one with .com, .net, .org, .biz and .co. And I'm still the only one who believes that 5n .info will be next, lol.

I hope that everyone here does really well with their shorter numerics.

Best of luck to all!

I don't have a lot of faith in .co and .org doing much in numerics.

A complete buyout in 6n .net is imminent very soon. Anything without a 0 and 4 is now gone. Probably won't be long now before the 0's are gone as they appear to now be rapidly disappearing. A complete buyout of 6n .net is about to take place.

If we are talking about phone numbers 11n their phone numbers starts with 3 numbers area code like 188-189-186 etc. belongs to telecom china and mobile china etc. and rest of all, another 8 digits for their unique numbers.ex : 18888999999.com " one, four times eights, six times nines " is that hard to spell or remember ? i think no...its compact and easy way... Imagine that everyone has a unique phone number and every number binded a web site...why not ?

Buyout don't mean anything; a strong 6N.net will survive and will have value; still it will lag a long way behind its sibling in 6N.com prices. As for the rest of the 6N.net buyout its value won't justify the cost of renewal and deemed to drop by its first renewal anniversary.

Have you seen the auction prices of 6n.net? All of these 6n .net premiums are currently between
$1,200 - $1,500.

913333.net
911111.net
917777.net
915555.net.

All of them are over $1,200.00 See for yourselves - https://auctions.godaddy.com/?t=12

Further, the prices on 7n .com have completely fallen out and are NOT selling at all. 7n .com completely died.

The market cap appears to be 6n across the board, and specifically 6n premiums. 6n with a 4 seem to be selling, and those with zero are really struggling. I will buy a 4 before a 0 at this rate.

I would say it's a pretty safe bet that the future will be 6n or less. I have several premium 7n, but there has been rapid shift from 7n .com straight to 6n .net. Really, the only premium 5n's left are with 5n .info, and that's just the reality of it. Once each premium to 6n is gone, this game is over for good and prices will rise rapidly. 7n + has completely died at the moment from what I can tell.

I think the days of hand reg'ing a numeric worth any future value is about to end very very soon. But that's the way it has worked throughout history in domaining, so it should be expected. If you think you can hand reg numerics forever and it will be worth something, think again. It's about to end at 6n across the board. Everything has an end, especially in domaining. Just be happy you all got in early on numerics and that you still have a small window left. Just buy smart, and short! Hand reg'ing and EVER turning a profit off those is about to end.

All that's left is 6n .net and 5n .info, and game over. And whatever 6m premiums are around in .biz and .info. And that's all that's left in the future of numeric domaining, in my opinion anyway. So use these last few days or weeks very wisely as it is ending, for hand reg'ing anyway.

i dont know why you guys are so hype on NNNNN.info the chinese do not care for dot info

Chinese buyers despised .NET as well, and look what happened.

All bets of logic and reason are off. At this point you just buy, and it if price increases it does, if it doesn't it doesn't.

For all anyone knows 5-6N .NINJA could get bought out - it all depends on where large portfolio holders start to buy and sell.

The money makes the movement.

I'm not getting into it either.

Mobile phone numbers in China have 11 digits.
Mobile phone use is growing more in China than anywhere else in the world. If 11 digits works for phones it will and does work for domains.

Mobile phones (individuals as users) is one thing.
But what about the business phones of the largest Chinese businesses?

Yes, I'm talking about those beginning with 400 and like (local call charge).
They all are 10 digits; some with very attractive patterns.
How do i know? I've researched a few leading Chinese bsusinesses.

You would be surprised, as to how many are already registered in .com and .cn ...
Yes, registered a few years ago!

Good point, but anything above 6n is too long in my opinion, with the exception of those in 7n - 8n having really good easy-to-remember patterns. Time will tell, but a "random" 7n - 8n pattern would be useless in my opinion as nobody could ever remember the URL. I don't believe China has 11 digit phones unless for international calls, but I could be wrong. Ether way, they won't buy on matching phone numbers. This is about an internet presence, and remembering a URL. Who would ever remember 75826957.com? And it also looks like crap.
This is exactly why good paterns sells ;)

Names like 8887888.com or 1234567.com are easy to remember :)

That's why I went for .info ultra premiums with great patterns, like 988889, 999998, etc.... easy patterns to remember that look good. I have a lot of good 5n similar ones, but those I remember off the top of my head, which is what it's about. If you can't remember a domain that's 7n & 8n, or any length, you probably shouldn't buy it. I can actually remember a ton of my premiums I bought by memory.

Hi Andy, thanks. I wouldn't think there has ever been a 6n .info sale. Nobody has owned a 6n .info before, up until a couple weeks ago. They were all available. The ones that weren't available were owned by the Chinese, and then all of us here bought them all along with the 5n .info. It's brand new, or it was anyway.

I figure I'll send some to auction in a month or two. I'm sure those patterns will turn some heads and look appealing.

It was just a cheap gamble.
