I can't say i'm surprised but nevertheless is sucks for ireit.

I have sold domains to Ireit and it was a good business experience. I like the guys at ireit but they own a lot of TM names including lots of Disney names yet they, for some reason, do not delete them and do put ads on them.

I'm guessing but if Verizon filed a lawsuit, I would think that they would have first asked ireit to give up the names and ireit said no?

Will be interesting to watch.

I'm not sure how this works, but my impression is that since they are suing for damages this is more than just c&d. It's very likely that Verizon wants a slice of iReit's revenue cake.

Don't be too sure about the damages. The court might want to set an example and may hit Ireit hard.
