IREIT and Domain Market Place = FAIL

The last few months I have had two major issues with IREIT and DMP. I was quoted two prices for names, and went I went to buy them, I was informed that there was a mistake, and the prices increased dramatically. One went from $10k to $55k, and the other went from $500 to $500,000.

I had to liquidate a valuable name, under value to raise the quick cash to complete the first transaction. I was furious when they informed me that it was a mistake. I miss the good old days, when people were personal, and always delivered.

That's unusual, because when iReit accidentally put up all those $xxx LLL.com on Afternic they honored every single sale. If it were domains owned by others, it is out of their control. I get offers canceled on me at Sedo all the time because owners made a "mistake".

Once a domain is listed for a price, I think if someone matches the price, its a sale, no matter who's selling and what.

Though I've had one deal go horribly wrong because the account rep conveyed a different meaning to the buyer than what I said, but them's the breaks.

Another blunder. No surprises though - these guys are idiots.

That's quite a hefty jump in pricing indeed.
