I'm looking for an IRCd hosting account.

Preferably a cPanel shared hosting account with 250mb-1gb space and 10gb+ bandwidth. With the added dedicated IP and SSH account.

Budget is no more than $10.
http://virpus.com offer me my perfect package except they only give jailed SSH and I need full SSH for the c compilers.

1 BG process - thats all!

Server location will affect heavily on where I choose. Non-softlayer (dallas, tx) datacenter preferably but not a must.

PM or post here is fine :)

Thanks!

I went with ServerOrigin.Com.

Their site said automatic setup but it took 6 hours.. seems okay so far. 'uptime' command disabled though.

Whois of the IP say its in CA, USA. So thats a little confusing but it seems very good so far!

=) The whois for serverorigin.com shows our Webserver. Our shell servers are located in Chicago and New York. It is a huge security risk and just bad business to place web customers with IRC customers, so therefore we seperate them.

The uptime command is denied due to the 'w' or who command which is disabled as users do not need to be able to see other customer usernames as it opens other security risks. You can use 'top' or see your server's statistics inside the billing system.

Welcome to ServerOrigin! :)
