Malicious code is blocked, mainly so they can install a custom version of PHP and custom modules and such. Never had issues with it, and as I said, all malicious code is blocked. Most free hosted sites end up making me more $ then the paid ones, heh, so I don't mind at all.

Oh got it. I have seen many hosts allowing people to use codes that can shut off httpd, mysql, etc. It's really stupid, but you are right, some free host's make more money than paid, it's all about the ads

haha, yeah, but each user is practically a seperate install, as in, if I were to allow them to turn off apache, only their specific site/hosting would be affected.
