Internet Content Filter to Protect Children

Hello Everyone!

I wasn't quite sure where to put this, so I'm putting it here. I'm running an internet content filter that blocks inappropriate sites. It blocks based on URL blacklisting and also the actual words in the page. It also blocks by pictures. It is a proxy, but it's not free, and it's not meant to be a tool to get around filters at work. This is a tool meant to protect children from seeing things they shouldn't on the internet. I originally built this for my Parents, and my brothers and sister, and they are still using it, and I thought that other Parents might be in need of it as well.

It's really easy to setup and it can work for all computers in your house.

It's $3.50 per month for your entire household. I really hate charging for it, but there is a lot of cost involved, we're not doing this to make money.

We also have a yearly price for this and it's 39.99 for a year. This is significantly cheaper than other software like cyberpatrol. This service is not software, so it doesn't need to be installed on your computers. Unlike Cyberpatrol, this service works for your whole household, and can also work on PSP's and possibly Nintendo Wii's. Cyberpatrol requires you to buy a subscription for each PC, and it doesn't work on other devices.

The filter itself is really powerful, and it can even filter viruses and spyware out as well. I've set it to where it doesn't allow certain files to come through as well. This helps protect you better. I know have two types of filters, the one above works for children and helps protect from inappropriate sites. I have a second filter, and it can protect for children, but it blocks ads really well too. My wife uses the second one for ad blocking. It blocks popups and more. The first filter isn't as good as blocking ads, but it blocks inappropriate stuff better.

I'm sure if I've mentioned this or not, but it also blocks viruses and malware attachments. The filter has clamAV antivirus, and so the internet gets processed through it as well. If anyone would like a free trial, please don't hesitate to ask. We wouldn't mind that. Thanks!
