I saw this too when I looked on an expiring name list and I checked the whois and got that expired in October too. How can that happen though?

Great domain. At first I thought I could at least have a chance at grabbing this domain name, but after reading the entire thread, I am not so sure anymore, haha!

Bidding closed at $108,000 - looks like Vertical Axis picked it up..

Apparently, SnapNames can only grab domains that expire - this one was deleted for 'other' reasons (usually fake contact information) and went through the normal RGP process.

Since the name was "dropped" who gets that 108k? It doesn't seem right to go to a registrar if it does. Seems like free money for them doing very little. They never even register the names or take any risks. I just realized these punks must be making a small fortune everyday! It doesn't seem right to me somehow. I love capitalism but there should be some fairness to the process. 108k bah! They should give part to previous registrar imho. Without them the name wouldn't have sold anyways...to me that would be partially fair.
