i was watching some tv today and was surfing, saw 'www.information.tv'

the channel has 'information.tv' in top left corner the whole time.

maybe this is old news? dunno


also was watching match of the day other day and they were interviewing the wigan athletic manager (premiership side) and the big hoarding behind them in interview room was plastered with 'wiganathletic.tv'

now its a redirect and the 'premiumtv.co.uk guys seem to have snapped up all the .co.uk names as well, but interesting they chose to promote this one.
makes sense really imo

Hi Arnie,

Yes i noticed this to and if you watch the Premier League Years on Sky, You will notice that when Paul Jewell was being interviewed in Wigans first year in the Premier League ( 2 years ago), it was actually WiganAthletic.NET plastered all over the boards,now its changed .TV.
I think we may see a lot more of this in the future, as more and more clubs either go with premiumtv.co.uk or get their own tv channels.

Edit, just a side note, i checked the entire Dutch Eredivisie (first tier of Dutch football) and only 4 teams in the entire league do not have a .TV site, all the others either use it as their main site, like www.az.tv, or have it redirected to another extension, The Dutch are extremely internet savvy and lead the way for .TV .imo.
