.info .INFO transfers at GoDaddy - No EPP Code required?

Good morning everybody.

I just noticed that GoDaddy does not request the EPP Authorization Code when transferring a .info domain. This caught me by surprise, because I've always had to use the codes at my other registrars whenever I was transferring .info/.org/.us domains in the past.

Does anybody know why/how they are able to bypass this step?

Just noticed that, too. It looks like they've decided to make a change in their
transfer process for auth-code domains.

One idea is they'll probably email the admin contact to provide the auth code
itself. Not bad if that's the case.

Of course, the only way to know is to go thru with the whole thing.
