In the last 24 hours 168,411 .info names have dropped. See:

http://www.whois.sc/internet-statistics/

A few months ago .info was ahead of .org in numbers of names registered. Up until about two weeks ago .info was about 50,000 behind .org. Now .info has over 1.1 million fewer registered names than .org.

Hmmm... who didn't see this coming from a mile away. I never bothered with any of the .info domain names, and the majority of the domains that are for sale atm would of been dropped. I am assuming we will see another large drop in registered .infos over the next few months also, from when they were $1.95.

But yeah, as Hanz said, it will be interesting to see if any good ones are dropped.

If those dropping .infos were tangible trash, I pity those assigned to dump 'em
away. :D

I love the fall. The colors of the changing leaves. The smell burning wood from off in the distance. And the dropping of .info's. :) Picking up 50 today alone.. hehe

I let about 35-40 drop, from the free info frenzy, were all decent, but I currently am too busy and would not have been able to turn a profit out of them within the next year.

I only have about 10 .infos now, and about 60 .coms all for development now, I had over 100 when I was reselling domains.
