Certainly already, prior to this weeks additional sales, re-evaluating some of the far too low prices that I had offered my .info at in the past.

From my understanding Family.info and 1 other higher .info "didn't really sell" and was not transfered to the buyer. It's clear the Whois has not changed, so I was surprised to see that Ron reported this. I am pretty sure there is a dispute with Family.info and this was the reason for the No Sale. Here is the thread in the legal section as well. http://www.namepros.com/legal-issues-and-disputes/372970-high-vlaue-names-won-snapnames-what.html

Logically an info should go for about the same as a net or org, perhaps more because of the meaning, perhaps less because of the extra letter. Info is newer, but that difference fades in time.

But logically I should be in bed now.

I think .info's will really continue to rise quite a lot in the next few years.... as long as they are relevent to "information" ;)

.info has been undervalued for too long, with the shortage of .com at decent prizes more people are choosing .info as better value for money compared to .net

I can see .info overtaking .net as the second TLD of choice after .com

Yofie, you are correct. Just to clear up some technical issues, Family.info and Jesus.info did not change owners. Also, government.info (mentioned in this thread) also did not change owners. Ron @ DNJournal said he would be revising the report to correct this error.

I am glad we were able to see what these names would have sold for, but it is unfortunate that Snapnames let this happen. After paying for the names, the buyers were informed that the auction could not be completed and were given a refund. I am sure it is disappointing for those who won, and reading about this likely caused a few others to stop bidding on other .infos because they did not want to win an auction and not get the name.

By the look of it, there are several more nice .info's that are going to auction at Snap, that the winning bidder will never get. Sad that eNom and Snap do not get this figured out before it goes to bidding.

hints.info Expired 2006 (probably a dispute) ready to go to auction at snap.
anchorage.info Expired 2006 (probably a dispute) ready to go to auction at snap.

To name a few...
