INFO Drops?

Hm, people have been talking about info and info drops.. I've been looking over recent info drops (here's an example: http://info.dropmarket.com/index.php?action=viewday&tld=info&year=2004&month=12&day=6) and IMO 99% of these should never have been regged (free or otherwise) in the first place. No wonder they're dropping.

I think we'll see the same pattern as with the other TLD's.. the good ones will be kept, the bad dropped and (hopefully) never re-regged.

I agree. But why wouldn't this naturally happen as with other gTLD's? What makes .info any different in that respect?

well when you have 25 free registrations, anyone, including people who have no idea about the internet can register a name. naturally when people hear "free" they will take whatever is being given away, but as soon as you have to pay, they will no longer be interested

heh, i would have registered some of thoses, maybe its just because i'm new and dont know what a good domain is yet..

My temporary moment of insanity was whatwouldjesusbuy.info.. but eventually I think it will make a nice t-shirt logo. I actually think I'll renew it, lol.

see? , if every person who registered 25 infos for free , develop at least one.....
i say the future is all for info..... lol :wave:
