India's new domain - .in.net has been released by Radix Registry Initiative.
Even though it would target Indian audience however cannot take anything away globally too. Although it is not going to be as huge as .in domain but still.

All the attention is on the release of new TLD's but still i am finding this extension really interesting.

Any thoughts?

Don't fall for this trap. It's not a real extension, it's just a private subdomain. Avoid.
BTW I don't think there is much value in .net.in either (official 3rd level).

A registry money grabber pure and simple.

Worthless for domainers.

I dont invest in domains. Just wanted to get an idea if it fancies anyone and whether i shall switch it on for sale or not and market it. Haven't had a great response in other forums too.

IN.net is a private domain name, just like the ones owned by CentralNic.
