Just got this in an email today from Answerable.com...

I can't really comment on their service or if this is a real deal, since I only have one domain with them (due to a snapnames auction) and I don't follow the .in extension. Just passing along the information to those who might be interested.

Promo price is for one year only. As ds2007 said, you can get it for approx. $3.5 or Rs. 140 at mitsu.in.

mitsu.in is a good choice. i used them for about 200 registrtions and no problems yet.
there is even a place that sells ins for 100 rupees(indialink or so) but i dont recomend them

But my money is still on answerable.. no mess with payment unlike mitsu who need faxes and documents while paying with a cc .. and of course there is always the brand factor.. answerable is directi's after all...

We are from Mitsu Team, as far as CC payment faxes etc. concern , this is only for the people whose credit card payments mark as high risk payment by Gateway, only in that case you require to give documents, Answerable and Mitsu is using the same payment gateway so same thing for both, if one card is mark is high risk payment at Mitsu then same card will also be marked at Answareable as high risk ? Please correctly present the facts.

If you are referring to reseller club(directi) then yes they are reliable and renewal price depends on which price slab you are in from $12.79~$16.49

I use whiz.in, it is $3.93 per .in and .co.in and this sale has been going on for a month....all over the place, so to be blunt, it is old news.....answerable was just late getting in the game....

Hi tpruby, at that price do you know if they place any restrictions on the domain at all? anything that would stop the thansfer of the domain in the future and what may be their renewal price?

Edit: I just checked the renewal price, apologies, i was being appallingly lazy. :hehe:

I use www.businessx.com based in Mumbai, India, found their customer service excellent. 135-145 rupees each, currency conversion is at www.xe.com

It's certainly less than $4.99, off the top of my head I think it's about $3.50, give or take a few cents / pennies.

That does seem to be a common problem, I actually normally access their website via google for the very same reason, two ticks and I'll provide the actual link that does work, two shakes of a ducks tail.
