I was just checking a few of the domains I have sold within the last few years to see what the end-users have done with them. Years later, many of them are parked. There may be many reasons why this is the case, but it makes think of the fact that many people just have money to spend and plans that never become a reality.
I always reflect on this when I think of accepting or rejecting offers. In many cases, end-users or even domain investors are impulsive buyers and you, as a seller, must take this into account. I am not including the names here, but just the prices of three names I sold, which are parked years later:
One: $1900 - Sold about three years ago - Parked
Two: $2500 - Sold almost two years ago - Parked
Three: $4000 - Sold about a year ago - Parked
Have you had a similar experience?
