Impulse Buy?

Has anyone bought domains that you're kind of skeptical about owning, but have a slight feeling they could be worth something and bought it anyway on an impulse? I just bought Sell.Financial on an impulse in hopes that I might be able to sell it one day, so I figured I'd ask to see if anyone else has done something simular. If so, have you profited or lost profits on doing so?

Once I bought TarotCard related domain, and after sometime left it to drop, at the last moment put it on auction and got around $500 profit.

I wouldn't really recommend impulse buying as it will probably backfire 99% of the time. if nothing else you need time to do your due diligence before picking a name up even if it is a good one
