This is a strange question and it may have been asked before.
I uploaded a new page to my site today and while doing so refreshed the page a bunch of times. This is normal for me, to check out alignment, ad placing, overall appearance, blah. Well, before making this page I added a new AdSense URL channel so I can see later how it performs.
I noticed that Google had registered all the impressions on the page already. This yielded a big fat .01 based on the CPM. Now, I know that Google normally doesn't credit your own clicks, though these are not ad clicks they are impressions and I did get paid for them.
Does anyone think it possible to get in trouble with Google about this. I know that I refresh a bit more than some, but I am sure other more OCD designers do it hundreds of times.
Do you think that anyone has ever tried to use impressions like this to fraud Google? Do you think that anyone has ever been banned for maybe being a bit too much of a perfectionist while designing and raising a flag?
This is the first time I thought about this and I admit to not searching for an answer before posting. Ignore me if this has already been beat to death.
