‘morgage’ got sold for $2,00,000 U.S., despite that it is a mis-spell word ( letter ‘t’ is missing ).
‘hotelz.com’ got sold for $5,00,000 U.S., despite having a abbreviation ( letter ‘z’ in place of ‘s’ ).

Message is clear for both buyer and Seller of Domain Names:- Don’t get paranoid about only pure generic word’s are commanding six figure U.S. dollars, it’s a myth. As we all know, 3-4 letter words are all booked, so the next wave of Domain Name Buying will emerge in those Domain Names which satisfy the following conditions:-
(1) clearly signifies specific business space / Audience
(2) is very precise even though have abbreviation and mis-spell.
(3) Specifically targets major economic sectors like :- Healthcare, Law, Property ( real estate ), tourism, Financial Markets like commodity, stocks, currency, bonds. Also Technology space along with Auctions will command premium dollars. We must remember that very deep pocket investors / businessman operate in all the above mentioned businesses and who can afford shelling out 5 to 6 dollar figure if they like the Domain Name for their unique business.
(4) Are 2-3 word long Domain Names
(5) Can be remembered easily
(6) Has a huge market behind it.

So all the best guys, make every word count for you.

what type of people would purchase the typo names? I assume they are not end users, but someone would want to make click PPC money?
