Hi, anyone able to answer two questions I have of IMODO,

(1) Will Imodo allow users to submit their sites to directories to build links. I think the best part of 1Plus was it allowing users to build links.

(2) Does Imodo allow users to generate news pages with user specified "keywords" as was allowed under 1plus using the "news template." If so - How? I haven't been able to find the function in Imodo Premium. If no, please include the function. I think it is very important.

There is a major stats update occurring atm, this should be working shortly. However ability to customize domains hasnt changed.

Badger, can you please help me out...its been about 2 days since these domains started showing Premium in Status but I can still use only Legacy templates.

The answer to your first question is yes and no.

The ultimate goal of iMODO is to provide real websites on your domains that you can promote, but while US traffic is still seeing a standard parking page this is not really viable yet with the premium templates.

If you're interested in link building, you're still welcome to use the legacy templates to do so with your own Adsense, and transition over to the premium templates in a few months when more options are available.

Question (2), you can specify keywords to build a news site under the premium templates if you have access to them. It is a different format than the 1plus news template, but you can still specify the "Domain Keyword" and the news stories will be pulled for that keyword accordingly.

BTW, I'm excited to announce iMODO has a new partner support system in place as of today! It has trackable trouble tickets, live support chat (when available), and a knowledgebase that will be growing with time.

On an entirely separate note; we are getting literally hundreds and hundreds of false (might I say "scam") sign ups which is making it difficult to seek out the good folk in which to upgrade to our "premium" platform.

Fortunately, our support team, together with some nice automated tools we have check every domains whois, every sign up by hand and every domainer who registers to ensure that our premium partners are who they say they are.

If however you do manage to slip by our vetting process, please feel free to contact our support on our new ticketing system.. Were aiming to have at least someone online to answer your queries 24/7. And when you register, please give as much details about yourself as you can..

Thanks for the quick response.

With regard to your answer to (1), I assume most of the functions to build a web site on our domains are not functional as yet since I don't see much I can customize right now in IMODO. My premium pages all look like nice parked pages, even though I am accessing it in Asia with the News Template setting.

With regard to (2), I am disappointed that IMODO won't have the news keyword function as I found the ability to set our own unique keywords for different pages of a domain in 1 plus very useful in getting my domains ranked for niche domains and keywords.

For example, I have dozens of domains in a niche area. The domains are like NicheNewYork dot com or NicheNewJersey dot com. Since the niche is small, there is probably no news and paying ads for such specific keywords and I will probably need to use the same "domain keyword" to pull any news and get relevant paying ads for dozens of domains. But this would likely resulting in duplication of content throughout all those domains. With the old 1plus, I could use the same domain keyword for the "main domain keyword," which determined main page news and ads, and then use niche related words on the other pages to make each of my dozens of domains Unique and Full of Content, and ranked.

Hope this explains my concerns.

Yeah. I think there have been some bugs recently.

My legacy news domains have all been set to morning format allthought I have them on evening news format.

From my experience, the morning format doesn't have high CTR so my adsense revenue has fallen to almost nothing.

I also got problem here. All my domains set as premium template, but all auto change to legacy when I check a few days ago. How to change them back from legacy to premium?

We do currently allow affiliates to promote their sites with paid listings at the major search engines.

Does this mean we can purchase adsense?

What is the estimated date that the US becomes live?

Okay, I fixed it. My domains were set to "evening news" in 1plus, but for some reason were all set to "morning news" in switch to IMODO. However, the news categories I had spent alot of time setting up on 1plus were not tranferred over. That said, the New Link function, under legacy template, doesn't seem to work in Imodo.

Loving iModo so far..

Our account is currently live with Premium templates and had a couple of questions/suggestions for RJ/Badger. We were going to report these via the Support Interface, but not sure why its not working for us.

1) How do we log into the support interface? It doesn't accept the iModo username/pwd.
2) FYI - Clicking on "Subscribed Users" or "Domain Trading" on the "Homepage" after logging in, gives an error page.
3) We are showing revenue on the stats page. Where do we put in our payment info?
4) Is there a way to change domain settings in bulk or should we just delete the group, set a default, and then upload again to get the default applied to the group? We will loose our keyword settings if we do this though.
5) Looks like .at, .fm, .de domains are not able to get Registrar info - Just an FYI.
6) Suggestion - Ability to add sets of domains into "Portfolios" for internal grouping, etc. Also would be great if bulk actions could be performed on the "Portfolio".
7) Suggestion - Ability to Filter by the data in any of the column, not just the domain name.
8) Suggestion - Ability to "test drive" a domain from the Domain Portfolio screen itself even if it is not currently pointing to iModo. This might encourage more domainers to actually point their domains that to iModo even if they have them in their account just to be able to manage them.

I just converted several more of my 1Plus legacy domains to iMoDo Premium mode. I am finding that the resulting Steamic pages (I am in the U.S.) are not even showing relevant content/ads , even though I have the keyword set properly. For example:

NewsAboutWii.com, keyword=Nintendo Wii, Tabs on page="News About HOODIA", "News About the Stock Market", "Medical Watch on CFRN TV News", first few links="Avandia® Updates", "Cardiology facts", "Sleep Quiz".

This does not bode well for conversions and CTR!! :td:

I think your word "just" says it all Joe.. Domains are added to our partner's database every hour. They should resolve shortly after this.

Believe me, we want that just as bad as you. We're looking at January or early February, though I would love to have it sooner.

Fortunately, the ads on the standard parking pages US visitors see are still quality ads that pay comparable or better than other services.
