What if it was universal to use letters instead of numbers for telephones? And you could buy and sell them without having service. Do you think someone would pay 14 million for SEX the phone id? Why can't you choose your own number now that long distance is pretty much history?

you can choose your own number. go on google voice and you can pick any phone number you want for any area code as long as it isnt taken yet.
