I literally had to come back to the computer every hour over the last couple of days due to the weird lag times that the registrar has on their system. I had some credit card rejections, some weird name drops (with quick refunds, thank God!) and a small money crisis, but it was all worth it!

I need to recover some funds by selling some other names or maybe one of these .ims, so look for some "for sale" posts from me fairly soon!

First off, most people never understand what the top keywords are or how much they are worth in these lower end extensions. Poker.im for instance is looking at $2k at least within the year of reg, Casino.im about $5k+, Travel arguably also 4-figures, and sex potentially mid to high 4-figures. That said, there's a big difference between those and other top tier keywords. A lot of what many people consider "top keywords" are not even close to top tier keywords (I remember someone mentioning blook as a top keyword...yes, not book but BLOOK, LOL), and most keywords that are not top keywords are not worth getting in these extensions until sales can back the extension's value (as otherwise, the money is better spent on 10+ .com names instead).

That said, and keeping in mind that "reg fees" = high $xx...

onlinecasino.im - Decent, might be helped by recent sale of OnlineCasino.eu for a godly amount (30k+ euros, I forget exactly how many). I'm guessing low $xxx within the year.
onlinepoker.im - .hk sold for low $x,xxx, but Macau helped that sale...this is probably also looking at low $xxx within the year, possibly up to lower mid $xxx. Always has potential for a good sale.
arcade.im - People seem to think this is an elite word in domains...I personally don't. No sales to look at except low ones to resellers. Reg fees - $100 at most IMO.
jokes.im - Ditto. Reg fees.
lawyer.im - Decent one, likely to do low $xxx within the year.
mortgage.im - One of your better ones, lower-mid $xxx to mid $xxx within the year. Loan(s) would be better, but this is still good.
realestate.im - Easily your best IMO. Mid $xxx to around $750 within the year. Your only Top Tier keyword IMO as mortgage isn't as taken as people tend to think whereas realestate is very much taken all around.
wifi.im - Decent, though I think wifi is not as popular a term as it used to be. Low $xxx within the year.
instantmessage.im - IMO, these "clever" ones are very hit/miss and are hard to evaluate. I personally don't think this will sell, but you never know. Ask high and hope.
windows.im - TM...park it and try to sell quietly if you can or M$ will come after you.

If I'd have seen your post before I registered the name, I would definitely have given you rep and/or told you "thanks". I had a list of over 100 names that I weeded through to end up with the 10 that I registered. You didn't help me prepare that list and windows.im was one of the names on it.

Occasionally people have the same idea when it comes to ideas, inventions, and yes, registering domains... that's why most of the good ones are taken.

The keywords look good but one remark anyway: I believe the people on the Isle of Man speak British English. So 'real estate' is not a term they would use, I believe the Brits rather use words like 'homes' or 'properties' instead. 'Real estate' is more American English.
Same for lawyer.im. I think words like solicitor or barrister are used British English.
It doesn't mean the names are worthless but they do not really fit IMO.

Yeah SDSINC has got it right with those 2 names. Nobody uses the term 'RealEstate' over here. 'Lawyers' might be used sometimes but not much. Nice sounding names but can't see much room for development in these 2 names. Good luck though

You are correct about real estate, but I think it's a strong enough keyword that it will be a lot more valuable in the future. UK OVT for "real estate" is 81,312, so it must be a somewhat common term. Lawyer however has a fairly high UK OVT and when comparing the term to USA OVT, I don't think it's a bad choice. UK OVT for "lawyer" 52,000 / USA OVT for "lawyer" 370,000. "Attorney" has almost the same UK OVT.

For now I somewhat agree with you on all of these except for onlinecasino.im

I think the recent (astronomical) price paid for onlinecasino.eu will make this name a lot more attractive to resellers. In addition, IOM has been developing it's online casino presence and has just recently opened betting to U.S. players. This is definitely the second best name to get for an IOM based casino (online or otherwise).
