To promote the opening of the new IKEA store in Malmö, Sweden, the furniture magnate has invented a new type of interactive marketing. The brand has used the most popular Facebook function, the tagging of people in photos, with the goal of gathering the community of IKEA fans. The Internet users were able to tag objects in photos of decorated interiors with their own names to have the chance to win these very products. First come, first served!

That is what you call clever marketing strategy. They just know how to maximize the full potential of the internet and the easiest way too is by social sites such as facebook. I've seen other companies doing the same thing too.
