I'd like DomainHunter to be actually useful and update itself from the registrar. Not just grab the data once when you first add a domain.

Can be either or even both. I am just looking for ideas. If you have a brilliant idea, I can probably make it happen, and send the user a free lifetime usage.

Well. I have 1 small need. A script where you can input a list of short domains names and they'll get sorted into single, double, triple, quadruple premium letter groups. Maybe also into LVLV, etc. I don't find that tool anywhere I searched.

I looked at that site once before. But even this time I couldn't find the link that sorts a list of domains into single, double, triple, quadruple groups.

Just ran into this discussion & wanted to ask your opinion about a new tool I am going to be offering very soon.

What if you were able to see the list of daily drops for .com/.net in "drop order".

Basically you have a list of 50,000+ domains dropping daily. I've written a tool that lets you know precisly which domain is being deleted from the registry in realtime.

The tool also gives you an overview of which domains got taken (snapped up) & which are still available for registration.

The tool ties in to my drop catching scripts at various registries & also gives you a good idea of which domain is being deleted from the registry.

So let's say you really want a domain, you'd be able to track the domains dropping right before the one you'd want & that would give you a chance to try & catch the domain using drop catching software or hand register the domain at the registry of your choice.

As far as I know, no one has offered a tool like this before.

Expron, doesn't the registry delete the day's drops in "random" order? I'd be surprised if they used a deterministic method to choose the delete sequence. If they did and the delete algorithm were to get leaked, it could dramatically alter the art of drop-catching.

As far as I know the order cannot be predicted. I tried to find a pattern for a while and talked to a few people who have been drop catching for years, and nobody has an answer. If you figured it out, which I highly doubt, you're going to be a very rich man.
