If a domain is registered for a client can I get it or?

Ok so i want this domain which is registered by another company for a client. I have been able to reach the company and they say its owned by a client and they wont say anything else? is there anything i can do here or should i calm down and just hope it expires or keep negotiating with them?

You can either say you are a motivated buyer and ask that they (the company) get in touch with the client and forward your details, or you can just forget about it for now.

This is an interesting one though, I've never thought about this but I can imagine that due to privacy policy's etc this could be a big obstacle.

I think you've lost your chance because it was sold for a another client. You can't do anything about this fact. Of course you can ask the company as many times as possible, but they have the right not to tell you anything.

Ok, they were nice enough to give me an email.

The reason i asked was because isn't there a rule that your domain contact details have to be correct or something?

Either way, i am now waiting for a reply, although i posted as a potential client since they wont respond to random domain inquiries, but i hope i didn't come across as someone with more money than what i really have, lol
