The .ie ccTLD registry has issued its first Domain Industry Report covering ten years of the .ie ccTLD's history. (This time, the link works

The .ie is a managed ccTLD which means that there are certain requirements for registering a .ie domain name. You've got to have a subtantial link to Ireland, a registered business name or company name, an Irish, UK, US or EU community trademark.
Eurid has issued its Q3 2010 domain report. The interesting aspect is the high number of IDN registrations that seem to be a serious part of .eu's growth since they were launched in December 2009.

The big test for .eu IDNs will happen over the next four months when many of the early IDN registrations will come up for renewal. Admittedly some EU countries have accented characters so the German IDNs might be some of the most important to watch.
