.asia was a failure in ascii. not sure how well it will be accepted in idn.
most of asia will be going to idn.idn so it may do away with the value of .asia
I would not buy into it unless it was the very best of names as I fear it may turn into a .ws or .name

I think that IDN.asia will be an interesting failure, just like the .asia extention is. It will only be "interesting" for the people that make money off selling .asia names, the .asia registrar.
