IDN at Sedo?

I have been trying to search for IDN at Sedo. For example, when I go to a particular site (simplified Chinese) it points to Sedo, and is listed for sale on the site. I then make an offer and it returns a server error. Ok, that doesn't work.

I then go to Sedo and enter the term in both Chinese and punycode into the search engine at Sedo and it returns errors (and I have IDN turned on at Sedo). So I write Sedo and ask them about the explicit domain I am interested in bidding on, and describe in detail the problem, and Sedo ignores the mail from its customer...

I know I can contact the potential seller directly, but I actually wanted to go through Sedo for privacy.

Has anybody else had problems searching for IDN at Sedo, or with Sedo "customer service" ignoring questions from a buyer about a Sedo seller?

Thanks,
Marc

Sedo sucks. They don't support all languages w/ that little domains might be for sale link.

Most idns cannot be sold thru Sedo, except for French, German, Spanish and basically most Latin based languages.

But they can be parked there.

So, I'm not sure how a Chinese idn parked at sedo shows that it's for sale?

Hi there.

I have parked few of my IDN's with sedo. They are listed as not for sale. At the time of listing, at that moment itself sedo says that they are not salable with them. I agree that they have searching, translation of IDNs and all that stuff.

But, when an item listed with them and is not salaable through them how can we make a bid?

Sedo does not have good service. But, what to do?????????????????????? :'(

Bye

They really have no idea about IDN, A huge potential going untapped because of a lack of effort, note all the phishing domains that were being sold there without anybody doing anything. :td:

Afternic seem to have it down but very few people use them or search there.

On the other hand, I have sold several Latins through Sedo. I have had offers on French, Spanish, and Swedish there. They can handle European languages. Especially German....
