Anyone else get most their ideas in bed while trying to sleep? Lately I've just been coming up with 100s of ideas while trying to sleep, do you ignore these ideas and hope to remember them in the morning or do you jump out of bed and write them down?

romantic :p

That is what i was thinking Michelle

Romance and sleeping is all a bed is made for.

Try not to have racing thoughts at bed time, you will feel much better when you awake the next day.

I get my best ideas in the shower - someone needs to invent a waterproof recorder so I can get them down while they're still fresh.

Happens to me everytime that's why I keep the lights on and the pad and pencil near my pillow:)

I thought you were asking for other types of ideas. Shows what's on my mind

I have pens and notepads scattered all over the house.

I have had so many sleepless nights where an idea has popped into my head and I haven't been able to sleep. Unfortunately, I never have time to implement my ideas...

I have so many problems with switching my brain off at bed time. It just keeps ticking over.... and over.... and over...

My thoughts aren't usually to do with domains... occasionally I will come up with an idea for a web site, but usually I come up with ideas for a different use (or a modification) for an existing tool or piece of electronics....

If I had the time, I am sure I could make a bundle of cash from my ideas. I just dont have the time...

Heh, I often I prefer it when I don't have ideas... Since the early 90's I've collected (written down/sketched/typed out) zillions of ideas I've had, and it's just way way too much. Not complaining, but yeah, the occasional break from having ideas is so welcome! :)

I keep a notepad and pen next to my bed, and will sometimes write things down while I am asleep...

Regarding OP:

Funny thing, I registered a domain about 2 years ago based on this exact problem.

I have a development and business 'idea' for it but of course it's on the backburner.

I really need a partner to develop a bunch of names.

I suggest keeping a pad and paper at your bedside.

About 9/10 of all my ideas, the good ones, happen while I'm in bed - but I never remember them the day after >.<

The first idea I had I decided to do. It turned out really well but then I sold it, It was an adult site so can't mention it. The last time I remember the current owner was getting 400k uniques a day :$:

I've asked my mum to get me a small whiteboard (she works for an office supplies company) so I can solve this exact problem :)

Wow.. from the title of this thread, I thought this thread would be about something else :D

Yes... the shower might have something to do with being in your most natural state of being.
