I do not believe the amendments have been approved, but rather are in a comment phase.

If I am correct about the comment phase, I plan to support single and double character domains in .coop, and oppose them in .mobi. Mobi needs to show maturity with their current premium allocations and enforcement of standards before being allowed to garner profits from these proposed new domain classes.

Neither of the current o.mobi trademark applications have been registered. The Overstock application has progressed more though, and it is currently posted for opposition.

Completely agree.

At the current pace it'll take 50 years to have the premium .mobis allocated...

Mtld needs to stop thinking about short term gains. Turning down legitimate endusers wanting to develop the domains Mtld is hoarding isn't doing the extension or anyone invested in it any good.

Will TMs come into play here?? It would be great if Overstock
got O.mobi but I believe they have to go through the RFP process
like everyone else.
