i was gonna just drop these:

zeym.com
dgxo.com
xoxf.com

sbxb strikes me as one to hold onto. If you do a google search for "sbx" it's the acronym for a radar system, a street basketball tournament, snowboarding competition, and some other possibilities. Whether you can monetize it based on one of those meanings, I don't know, but I'd experiment first before dropping the name. Otherwise, PM me and I'll buy it from you.

I wouldn't let any of those drop. If you don't want them than sell them.

here are some ideas i had (but then sort of forgot because i got so involved in mobi's)

blnq.com = sounds like "blink"
pjno.com = not sure on this one except it ends in "no" which might be good
zeym.com = my favorite and gets the most hits on sedo, pronounceable
dgxo.com = easy, "i love dogs"
xoxf.com = "i love france"
sbxb.com = something to do with starbucks maybe

who knows ? ... guess i'll reg em all for another year

had _no idea_ all the llll.com would all go

thanks for your replies

"bad" is in the eye of the beholder.
If the Professional Janitors of New Orleans needs a domain, pjno.com would be worth at least $50 to them.
and, although a stretch, zeym.com and blnq.com are pronouncable and must be worth at least 4x reg fee.

thanks everyone for the helpful replies

i wonder whether these domains are rising because of speculation / scarcity or are they being used ?

this sounds like a joke but i am actually serious, is it possible that all those llll.com that i passed over which had x's and q's in them might have grabbed by the chinese businesses or something since x and q seem to be very prevalent in pinyin ???

also, i am not so sure that q really deserves the bad rap it gets as "bad" letter

I do not like it.
I do not like the "V"
Sell it or renew it, but don't let it drop.

xrvel, hey thanks for that, i do too, i saw it in the large list of names that i combed through and picked it out because it sounded like "zime" .... i also really liked blnq.com because to me (but not to everyone else) it sounds immediately like a cool way of saying "blink", more memorable, so actually blnq is my favorite but zeym gets the most hits on sedo

sell it, $200 is more then you were going to get dropping it.

It's got a Q and those suck. It doesn't pass the radio test either.

you may be right, we do get attached to names and don't always see clearly

what i like about it is the it's catchy and memorable i.e. "think blnq" and could easily be made brandable (and yes you are right, it doesn't pass the radio test) in a way that plain old blink might be ..

i got the offer through network solutions and so i wonder if it's an end user and probably not a domainer which means they are thinking of it's brandability ??

who knows ?

thanks for the replies

I'm confused you were thinking of letting them drop now you have an offer and your thinking of holding out?

Sell it or make a small counter offer but dont go overboard
and then use the cash to reg the others.

You will have the rest of them and it wont have cost you anything, plus you've probably made a profit.

joe
thanks for the reply
when i originally posted the message i had no idea that LLLL had all been taken so i renewed all 6 for another year
they will expire at the end of this year
i like this best of all
but anyway, i think i will counter, exactly where i'm not sure

it must be an end user and so it's a question of where to counter ...
or will the name go up in value ..

it's such a specific combo of letters out of 450K + why choose this ??

Some info that I could find:

Its a course code in
Stanford University Org Code Hierarchy
Level 6- BLNQ -Fund Accounting

Some sort of chemical
tetrakis complexes,
BLnQ4

Also seems to be in a few other formulas that I'm unable to decipher.

After that you have phrases that someone might be able to make from it.
eg.

Bln stands for billion Questions? Quid?
Business Leader Network Questions

Anyways hope some of this is of some help
