I want to start a Political Forum...

But I don't know the first thing.

Which program would be best and easy for me to use.

So far, I know of vBulletin and I.P. Board but not how to administer them at all.

Just purchase that script and have someone install them for your. Administering it is pretty straight forward.

smf is easy to install and admin

It's free too

check their site for info and downloads

drop in the forum in my signature and look around , I'm not great with design or scripts or graphics but manage to make smf work for me with different layouts by board and etc..

vbulletin can get a little complicated at times. If you are not very confident in making money with your forum, I would recommend phpbb (with captcha an stuff to prevent mindless spams) as it is a free software and has a lot of free mods and templates.
