Where can I get a loan with my domain name mortgaged? I'm short of working capital now, but I don't want to sell my domains to wholesaler at a low price.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
There used to be companies like Domain Capital and others. I am not sure if they are still active.

For anyone to loan money you generally need extremely high quality, liquid domains.

You would be wise to avoid using any Epik services at this point. They barely exist as a company.

They reportedly owe millions of dollars to customers. There is no way they have any money to lend.

This is a problem. The idea is that you should be able to liquidate the domain in a few days (or weeks) if the loan can't be paid. So the money you'll get will be substantially less than what you'd get wholesale, especially when you account for the volatility of the market.

Judging by your avatar, do you happen to be the owner of NFTs.com that sold for $15 million? Because if that's the kind of domain you want to mortgage then it will be very difficult, because finding reliable buyers for high-value domains is hard. Just for reference, NFT.com sold for $1 million shorty after, and there's no guarantee you could even sell it for that. Which is what someone planning on giving you a mortgage would bank on.

NFT.com sold first ($2m).

NFTs.com a year after ($15m).

That's called misrepresentation, if you're not the owner of the domain mentioned in your avatar. Please remove.

what is it u paid for the domain... or did u have it appraised by experienced domainer... not a tool. sadly most names people want mortgaged are not.liquid or of value... and 99percent of those it says new member like u.

Good catch Mr. Sensors.
If someone reports it, maybe @Paul can take a peek a boo see if they are friends or siamese twins. And upvoting your friends post is sad too

Stop tricking us. There is a promotional section on this website where you can promote your services. But don't all start creating accounts with a so-called question and answer game. It gives a negative impression of your company, while such a service should radiate trust. I therefore currently advise against doing business with you.
