As many of you know one of the big Collectables.tv in my life is .tv domain names. My interest in them probably came from hanging around the local BusinessSchool.tv

Well, so far I’ve been able to ignore all the dildos.tv who advise that I should look elsewhere for a truly topnotch.tv name. I’d like to find something that is a very special word, straight out of the finest pages of Literature.tv. Indeed, I’d like it to emerge.tv as the next big domain name, a name every video downloader.tv would immediately run to for their webcasts.tv.

Yes, there are detractors, but at JuniorHigh.tv we were taught to slam.tv or occasionally put a fist.tv against anyone who tried to bully us in this way.

My serach has taken me as far as Australia where I rented a place near AyersRock.tv where the furnishings.tv were fabulous. The place was an old Timeshare.tv, whose walls were painted Schwarz.tv. It was very much an arthouse.tv and looked as though it’s beauty needed publishing.tv in every magazine. Certainly it needed further surveillance.tv, the kind you find at an internetpoker.tv game.

I normally look for names at the SEDO auction but don’t recall ever seeing more than Three.tv, and even then I couldn’t get involved because I was on a CaribbeanVacation.tv, so had to rely on VideoReports.tv to find out what happened (I rely on all kinds of reports in my quest for perfection, from SexReports.tv to TravelReports.tv).

So, whether you are in Holland admiring a Tulip.tv, or reading your TravelBook.tv instead of watching the Presentation.tv, let me know if you find any good .TV names at auction. I can’t find any - and the ones I see all seem to Suck.tv.

Please, remember, whether you are in Schaumberg.tv or at a Boatshow.tv having a Coffee.tv, or playing ComputerGames.tv I am on the lookout for good names for my collection. So, no messing around on EuropeanVacations.tv I want all you domain Technicians.tv hunting like a crazed HomeWrecker.tv, searching from here to Mauritanie.tv to find me a perfect name.

But be careful, we need our watchers.tv on full alert, because if we buy a bad name it might mean Chapter13.tv or even a downstairs haircut.tv rom the wife for losing money. Even a semi-bad name might get a punch in the Chest.tv and the Fireman.tv having to extinguish the flames of hatred sent to you via WLAN.tv

If you do see any TV names at auction, let us know, I can't see any, anywhere.....

the local aboriginal folk prefer the term 'uluru' instead of ayers rock , they prefer people don't climb it too ....yet most visitors do

It matter what tourists like to call it, not what name Aboriginals prefer.

Tourists call New Jersey a shitholetoxicwasteland but that's a different argument that most likely is irrelevant :-}

"Ayers Rock" is the more popular term, doesn't matter what tourists learn when they get there, they aren't likely to be looking up sites to book tours when they have already arrived at the place. $$$ is what counts, not politics.

Creative writing, with a 'Sales Hook'. Nice! It sells the fact that there is an auction better than anything else I've seen.

EDIT: Whatever they call the rock someone should buy the name for Ayers Rock the (mid '70's) Australian 'rock' band that was way ahead of its time. They only issued three albums and these are highly collectible. Ten years ago I was offered $75 for 'Beyond', their '76 release. I said no... as I really like that album and cover art -of the Ayers Rock as a face profile looking up, out of the ground.

The band's music still sounds 'modern' today some 35 years later. Whomever owns this name should check it out:

Having been taken by the quality of writing, creativity and thought you have entered on Namepros over the past few weeks, that quote is seriously appreciated. Thanks Claude.

I looked at the video, and of a few others of the band over the years - the video of them doing Stairway To Heaven in Amsterdam in 1991 being the highlight! I think, overall, they are a bit dated, but I could certainly glimpse a bit of Yothu Yindi (twenty years later) at the start of the video you suggested.

Music aside..

The fact is this, regardless of why people think other people are here, MOST people venture to this area to garner information, make contacts and ultimately.....make money!

If you can do all three and have fun at the time, then life is good.

And talking of such, it looks like we're in the last half an hour of the WEBCASTS.tv auction.

If you are bidding, good luck. If you are asleep in the Americas, never mind, there are more names coming up to auction end throughout the day.

They are what they are, and obviously the bidding is somewhat above $8 for them.

i said "i wouldn't bid $8 for them"

if others want to "waste" their money, fine with me

Biggie, not a cool comment at all.

Nice.
Snoop has our back!

Thx Snoop.

dude or dudette whichever the case, you need to open your mind

i call it like i see it...always have and always will.

i don't post to kiss ass of other members, i say what i feel and think, based on my own experiences.

i don't follow the crowd....i move the crowd

if something has value imo, i give it props, if it doesn't i'll call it crappy or whatever i feel like.

this is a biz and you better start thinking like a pro instead of being emotional about a domain extension.

imo...
