@Joe Styler , I would really need you help to overcome this.

I have a buyer for a domain who has paid for it at Payoneer. Thanks to @promo for all the help he has given to bring it to this stage.

I gave the authcode or epp to buyer who has been able to initiate the transfer from Namecheap where the domain name is to their Godaddy account. Godaddy sent a notification by email stating that they have sent me an email to approve.

i HAVE NOT received any of such email since 2 days now that they initiated the transfer. I have called customer care, explained everything and requested for another email to be sent so that I can approve the transfer but nothing has been done. When I explain, they tell me that they understand what I am saying but they do nothing about it. I have called twice and chatted once. Nobody is doing anything about.

Please tag any Godaddy rep that can help me out here because this is beyond me.

Thank you. It happened today because they sent the approval email today and namecheap also sent theirs today. Apparently, for some unknown reasons, the email was never sent on the day (25th) it was initiated.

Thanks all the same.

In the last 2 weeks it happened three times for me the same thing, one time I've received the email after 7 days, the second time after 3 days (the transfer was restarted ) and for the third I'm still waiting after 7 days( @Zoltan P. )

Have you been updating the WHOIS and checking for the ICANN contact update confirmation email you need to agree to first? If you dont click that link and agree to the contact changes the emails for the transfer will not go out.

It's about the first email, either with the security codes or with approval email, you can't do any whois update if you didn't approved the transfer.

Thats strange, I've seen godaddy delayed emails, but not for days. I wish somebody at GD tech dept could make it easier for support or account managers of for Joe Styler, if they need, to obtain technical proof of sent (or never sent) email from godaddys mailserver log.

Something like this:

Feb 10 17:04:36 nnn sm-mta[27913]: r1AG4U09027911: to=<[email protected]>,
delay=00:00:06, xdelay=00:00:02, mailer=esmtp, pri=120589,
relay=mail1.someone.com. [212.106.200.39], dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent

Translates to: email to [email protected] leaved our mailserver on Feb 10 17:04:36 and was immediately and successfully accepted by the receiving mailserver, which is called mail1.someone.com

If there is a lack of such a successful delivery proof - would be useful to investigate further

Regular support can get that info via an escalation if you contact them.

12 days after the transfer was started, from alpnames to godaddy, still no email with security codes, approval link or anything else from godaddy, even after the transfer was restarted. It start's getting harder and harder working with godaddy transfers.

We have 24 hour 7 day a week support for you if a transfer is ever stuck. We do a giant amount of transfers in and out each month most without any issues. If something is stuck support can help you with it. I checked with our transfer team and the team that handles escalated transfers and we have not had any known issues or any increase in customers saying their transfers were stuck over the past couple weeks. I've tried to contact support 3 weeks ago regarding the first issue with a transfer but I was the seller and didn't had access to the buyer account. He contacted them and they have told him that it takes up to 7 days to receive the security codes. I don't know about 7 days, I know that most of the time it takes a few minutes to receive the codes, so I could not help him and he didn't knew what to do. The second time, two week ago the transfer was restarted in the fourth day and just after the restart I've received the codes. Now, with the last transfer, there are 13 days, he restarted the transfer but still nothing and the reply was that' we have sent the codes to this email address................., but nothing was sent, so not a big help. I told him to contact them again and ask them to start over everything again from the beginning. I have to say also that these transfers were all from different registrars to godaddy and all had the same issues and in the same time I've transferred other 4 names which didn't had any issues, so some of them are ok some not, coming from the same registrars.

Send me a pm with the domain please and I will see if there is something I can find out without being in the account of the buyer. If not you might need to jump on call to support with him to figure out if there is a mistake happening on his side etc or if something it stuck.
