I just sold a .asia domain (regged at godaddy) although not high just in the mid $XXX range but not bad for a start.. however now i have a problem.i tried to push the name to a godaddy account they say Requested action is not allowed for this TLD (domain extension):
Is this true? Have anyone sold any .asia so far n push domains from one godaddy account to another?

You probably cant push it to another person if they are not in Asia...

I think you will have to wait about 60 days before transfer.

Because of the residency requirements, your buyer
has to qualify, and I don't know who that's up to.
If he does, it could be like a .de push,
where you have to leave it with the EXACT
whois info it has now and using just the new buyers email
to do the transfer.

Congrats!
What's the domain name ... and who is the buyer? :gl:

There is a 60 Day wait, before you can change the ownership.

That includes pushes, you cant change any of the registration info for 60 days.

Isin't that just if you want to transfer out of Godaddy?
Or is it just for .asia?

from what i understand the 60days cooling period is only for domains regged during the landrush period or before. any names regged from Go live onwards arent bound by the ruling anymore. is your name regged in the earlier period? i'm not sure this 60days apply to name pushing but it does apply to DNS changes.

I'd be interested to know the exact ruling on this fact as well. 60 days is harsh at this time to be honest. Won't make their extension very popular....

NetSol has a 60day lock added any time you update the account, I am glad I finally got all of my domains off of them.

Oh and $35/yr .coms :D

I am interested to know if this is true too. 60 days before a push is crazy. I thought it would be 60 before transfer which seems fine. I know you can change dns at godaddy because I did it immediately. Anyone successfully push a .asia yet?

thanks

if i didnt understand wrongly,i think the transfer function for .asia aint up yet. nothing to do with the 60 dys cooling period which applies to DNS changes for names regged before their Go-Live.so much so with the hype they have created.
